About Me

Donna Scro Samori is a New Jersey LCSW who graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Masters in Social Work and with a Certificate of Violence Against Women and Children. She brings a broad range of life experience to her work and is passionate about meeting her clients where they are. She helps clients to facilitate an inner understanding and reach their treatment goals in a warm, non-judgmental, supportive, and empowering environment. Donna enjoys working with teens, young adults, and adults helping them to navigate challenging life circumstances, life transitions, and to create desired change.

Donna incorporates 20 years of experience as a master yoga/meditation teacher in her work utilizing mindfulness, radical acceptance, and somatic theories. Donna also utilizes strength-based, client-centered, and self-compassion treatment approaches to help her clients with self discovery and growth. She uses DBT, ACT, and IFS Informed treatment modalities.

Donna is the Wellness Coordinator for the Department of Theatre and Dance at Montclair State University where she has spent many years as a dance adjunct professor. She specializes in working with college students and performing artists with a deep understanding of their unique and specific challenges.
